Privacy Policy

LaganInvite is operated by Bav Tech Solutions, a UK-based product studio, and is the controller of personal data processed through laganinvite.com. For any data-protection question, email support@bavtechsolutions.com.

• Account data — your name, email, profile photo, and (if you sign in with Google) a Google account identifier.
• Wedding content — the names, dates, venues, photos, and messages you add to your invitations.
• Guest data you upload — family names, contact details, expected attendance. You are the controller of this data; we process it on your behalf.
• RSVP submissions — name, optional phone, attendance, dietary preferences, notes.
• Billing data — handled by Stripe; we only store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, never card details.
• Operational data — server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention. Logs are retained for 30 days.

• Contract — to provide the LaganInvite service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interests — to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• Consent — for non-essential cookies and any marketing email (you can withdraw any time).
• Legal obligation — to comply with tax, billing, and law-enforcement requests.

• Google Firebase — hosting, auth, database, storage (data stored in EU/UK region where available).
• Stripe — payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant).
• Google (auth) — only when you choose Google sign-in.

We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising trackers.

You can at any time:

• Access a copy of your data.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your account and all associated data — available from Settings.
• Object to or restrict processing.
• Port your data to another service.
• Complain to the UK ICO (or your local supervisory authority).

When you publish an invitation, the link (e.g. laganinvite.com/i/raj-priya-2026) is shareable with anyone. Cover photos embedded in the invitation are served via a tokenised URL — anyone who has that URL can view the image without signing in. This is how WhatsApp link previews and search-engine cards work. Treat your invitation URL as you would a private link: share with people you want to invite. You can unpublish at any time from your dashboard.

Wedding content is kept for as long as your account is active. When you delete a wedding or your account, content (including uploaded photos and guest/RSVP records) is removed within 30 days. Billing records may be retained longer where required by law.

Our infrastructure providers may transfer data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

LaganInvite is not intended for use by anyone under 16.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
